How it works

Three steps. Most people are set up in under five minutes.

1

Tell us what you are

Small business or nonprofit, your state, your industry, and how much you're looking to raise. That's all we need to filter.

2

We track the grants

Our team monitors federal, state, and private grant programs daily. Each listing is verified against the original source before it goes in the database.

3

You get the matches

Free members get a weekly email with new grants. Paid members get instant alerts, full database search, and deadline reminders.

Questions

The ones we get most often.

How current is the data?

Listings are re-checked against their original sources regularly, and new programs are added as they're announced. Every listing shows the date it was last verified, so you can see for yourself before you apply.

What counts as a verified grant?

A grant is only listed if we can point to the original source — the funder's own page, a government listing, or a foundation's published guidelines. If a program's terms can't be confirmed at the source, it doesn't go in the database. No aggregator copies, no dead links.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account page in one click. You keep full access until the end of the billing period, then your plan drops to Free automatically. Nothing to email, no retention calls.

What are the refund terms?

Subscriptions: full refund within 30 days of your first payment, and within 30 days of any annual renewal. Monthly renewals after the first month are not refundable, but you can cancel anytime. The $39 toolkit is a one-time purchase with a 30-day refund window. Full details are in the refund policy.

Which states do you cover?

All 50 states, plus federal programs and private grants that are open nationwide. State-level coverage is strongest where grant activity is highest — California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Illinois each have dedicated pages, and the rest are in the main database.

Is this financial advice?

No. GrantSignal is an information service. We collect and organize publicly available grant information so you can find it faster. We don't tell you which grants to apply for, how to run your business, or how to spend money. For anything with real stakes, talk to a qualified professional.

Will applying actually get me funded?

We can't promise that. Grants are competitive, and most applicants don't win most of the time. What we can do is make sure you never miss a program you're eligible for — that part is on us.

Who is this for?

US small businesses and nonprofits — that's the whole audience. If you're an individual looking for personal grants or scholarships, this isn't built for you, and we'd rather say so upfront.
